Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue Massage

A deeper massage with stronger pressure that targets specific areas of the body. Designed to soften the muscle and warm the tissue to increase flexibility and relieve soreness. During longer sessions, expect that Swedish relaxation techniques will be blended with Deep Tissue work to specific problem areas.

Relaxation Massage

A perfect massage aimed to smooth away tension, improve circulation, soothe aching muscles, and relieve physical and emotional stress. Communicate beforehand with your therapist about what kind of pressure you find most relaxing, or simply trust their professional judgement, as you let go of the worries of the world.

Craniosacral Therapy

This gentle bodywork technique focuses on sensing the subtle tidal patterns of the cerebrospinal fluid and restores flow and movement to the fluid systems of the central nervous system. Like any area of the body, trauma or injury to the tissues can lead to blockage or stagnation patterns. This can be very helpful for anyone with a history of concussions, head trauma, auto accidents, or birth trauma, to give some common examples. Craniosacral is considered by some to be an Energy Medicine technique, but unlike some more energetic forms of therapy, it is very grounded in the rhythms and tissues of the human body.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "Spiritiual Wisdom: and Ki which means "life force energy." So Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy."

A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results.

Chinese Style Cupping & Gua Sha

​This treatment applies cupping, scraping, and heat therapy to specific energy points to harmonize the Qi within the meridians and yin and yang energies to aid the body's ability to heal itself. This can be a stand alone treatment or combined with other styles of massage.

marc’s work is grounded in craniosacral therapy, a slow, gentle and subtle approach to working with the body’s inherent drive toward regulation, balance, healing, and expansiveness. He was drawn to this work through his experience as a client of exceptional manual therapists, fascinated by their abilities to perceive - with specificity and nuance - areas of held tension and pain as well as the larger patterns around them. His own body’s profound response to gentle pressure backed by care, detailed understanding of anatomy, and specific intention, inspire his work. marc strives to live up to this mentorship by working as a facilitator, listening closely to his clients, witnessing what is and has been, holding space and offering questions about what openings, resolutions, comfort, and joy might be possible.
